This experiment in single parenthood has been a disaster. Last night, somebody threw up in the playroom. I was ridiculously busy, and promptly forgot about it. Two hours later, Rivky tripped in it.
Sounds oddly familiar! Me and my wife always comment how we have no clue how single-mom's cope.
I went to Israel for a business trip for a week, and my asmathic child gets a cold and is up all night coughing and my wife catches the cold too. So she is all alone with two kids, pregnant with the third, no sleep, sick with fever, taking care of a sick child....!! My mother-in-law flew in from 'out of town' to assist - though she wore gloves throughout.
