Yaakov and I were watching a documentary about the civil rights movement.
Stokely Carmichael was speaking about the U.S. government drafting young men for the Vietnam war.
He yelled, "Keep your filthy white hands off our beautiful black kids!"
It riveted me. I felt this sensation well up inside me, like a roar. It was awesome. He was awesome.
