Happy Second Blogiversary!

Two years - and 577 posts - ago, I started this blog. Last year, on my first "blogiversary," Yaakov re-designed the site. I'm not doing anything that exciting this year, but I am taking reader questions again (you can leave them via comments or email). I appreciated your input so much last year.

And now I have a question for you! I'm curious to know, how did you find this blog?

p.s. Hillary's going to be the next president.

    Shavuah tov, and mazel tov!
I can't recall on whose blog I first read your comment/name and linked to yours thereafter, but I'm glad I did.
You have a very candid and funny writing style, which is a drawing card. I like when you question us, when you question yourself -- in essence, I guess it's your "anxiety" that is interesting and often funny to read about.
But that photo that you have on the site gave me the heebie=jeebies from the beginning...!
Enjoy the next year of blogging!

Mazal un bracha! You know how I found your blog ;) It's funny, because I always thought yours was so beautifully designed with so many cute little details that I didn't know how to emulate. I guess that's one more reason I need to get married! ;)

I found you very recently via a comment you left on 'this fish....' blog on ivillage.I am irish catholic but I have had a fascination with Jewish culture for years and you provide me with the fix I need - even though I have to google half the terminology you use. I havent had time to back track through all your entries but I was wondering what was the catalyst to become frum? and how did you meet your husband?

I don't remember how I found your blog, but I am so glad that I did! Our "talks" by email provided me with such help, and as I find my through towards teshuvah and becoming a kallah, I am so lucky to have this blog! Plus, it is nice to know that other people stress about friendships and weight and normal things too! :)

I think I found you thru Dino Mom...but I could be wrong.

I think we need to hear the story of how you and Y got together to be the Marvelous Maven Family. :) Or at least how you ended up in Florida.

As for Hillary being president, if that happens we deserve whatever happens to us.

I was going to stay out of the Hillary thing, but i've gotta chime in here...

ANYBODY but Hillary in 08. She's chock full of wacko ideas. Go check out her ideas on mortgage reform...

read this (references within, check out some of the other links...)

Sorry. I don't like the repubs any better. Rudy? "elect me because of 9/11". Please, enough!

I second east of eden. I'm dying to know how a hippie stoner Deadhead chick met a hippie stoner Deadhead guy and they both became Lubavitch and are still in love. You should write a book. Seriously -- Feldheim would totally publish it ;)

And Yaak: dude, if you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem. So you don't like Hillary and any of the Republicans. I don't blame you. But what are you going to do in November? What's the least repugnant option?

I'm going to write in Joe Walsh.

My motto has always been, "choosing the lesser of two evils is still choosing evil". I wish there were a way around it, but it seems that the only way we're gonna have a decent, unbiased government is through revolution...

All this assumes that there will, in fact, BE an election in 08. it's quite possible that the powers that be will trump up some sort of 'turrism' in order to belay them...

    /adjusts tin-foil hat...

Yaakov, that was a really good link. You should start your own blog and put your good sense to work on the www! :)
